Mobile Asphalt Plant FAQ
What is the solution offered?
Mobile system enabling on-demand production of real hot asphalt directly on-site. Enables asphalt production to become an internal capability rather than an external dependency.
Who is the device intended for?
The system is aimed for operators who cannot rely on nearby asphalt plants, fixed productions schedules, long transport distances or seasonal availability but still need high-quality hot asphalt repairs immediately on site.
What are the typical use cases?
Road maintenance, airports, military infrastructure, bridges, emergency repairs, and remote locations.
What kind of asphalt can the system produce?
The system produces true hot asphalt mix, comparable to standard road or runway asphalt. The composition can be adjusted by changing the aggregate, bitumen type and mix formula.
What problem does this solution solve?
Eliminates dependency on external asphalt supply by enabling on-site production. This is especially critical when asphalt plants are unavailable or transportation would take long.
What are the cost benefits compared to traditional asphalt supply?
Eliminates transport costs, reduces downtime and enables immediate repairs any time and any condition.
How does it compare to other repair methods?
Enables permanent, high-quality repairs that match original asphalt performance.
How does it compare to other machines in the market?
We are not aware of another solution combining this level of mobility, self sufficiency and year-around true hot asphalt production capability.
How is the unit transported?
The unit is built into a standard container enabling fast transport with common trucks. It can be equipped also with a hook-lift compatibility.
How is the unit deployed?
The unit can be operated while mounted on a truck, placed directly on the ground, or supported on its own legs.
How fast is the repair?
Enables end-to-end repair execution in approximately one hour.
Can it operate in all conditions?
Designed for year-round operation and demanding weather conditions.
How soon can the repaired surface be used after the repair?
Time-to-use depends on weather conditions but can be as short as immediate (winter) or 15–20 minutes (summer with water cooling).
What is the production capacity?
1,000 kg per batch, up to 5,000 kg per hour.
How much area can be repaired?
Over 30 m² with onboard materials.
How are materials loaded?
Aggregate via roof, bitumen via side hatch.
Can it operate during transport?
Yes, thanks to process automation production is possible while moving.
How easy is it to operate?
Designed for simple operation via intuitive touchscreen interface and highly automated process.
What safety features are included?
Includes automated process control, monitored systems with alarms, status traffic lights and available integrated fire suppression.
How many operators are needed?
Designed for one operator requirement due to automation.
Is it self-sufficient?
Fully self-sufficient, eliminating reliance on external power or infrastructure.
What fuel does it use?
Diesel, biodiesel tai HVO.
Can the hot bitumen be used for other applications?
Yes, hot bitumen can be extracted from the onboard boiler and used for other applications, such as crack sealing.
What is included and price?
