PKP HotPatch 3 is a container-based mobile asphalt unit that enables the production of high-quality hot asphalt mix directly at the job site or repair location.

The unit was developed to remove the bottlenecks of traditional asphalt logistics: long transport distances, high costs, and dependence on fixed asphalt plants' operating hours or winter shutdowns. Instead of temporary, low-quality cold patching, repairs are carried out immediately using durable hot mix.

1. Raw material loading

Aggregate and bitumen are loaded.

2. Transport to site

Transport by truck.

3. Heating start-Up

Bitumen is heated to the target temperature.

4. Asphalt mix production

Aggregate and bitumen are mixed into asphalt mix.

5. Discharge to repair area

The asphalt mix is discharged to the repair area.

6. Finishing

The asphalt mix is compacted and the edges are sealed with bitumen.
