The genuine need to carry out patching work better, more flexibly, and with the right mix gave birth to the PKP HotPatch equipment. The product was not born out of theory, but through continuous development across multiple generations and testing in real jobsite conditions.

PKP Infra Oy is a Finnish company working in infrastructure construction and asphalt patching, with long-standing practical experience in the real conditions of road management, maintenance, and patching work.
The Birth of the PKP HotPatch Product Family
The company faced a constant problem in its own contracting work: there was a need to perform small asphalt repairs with high quality, but hot asphalt mix was not always available at a reasonable time, cost, or distance. This need sparked a development process that has now reached the device's third generation.

PKP HotPatch 3 is a solution built on lessons gathered from earlier versions, jobsite experience, and solving practical problems. PKP HotPatch 3 was not created at a desk, but out of a real need to perform asphalt repairs better, more flexibly, and with the right mix.
Further Development
PKP Infra continues to develop mobile asphalt solutions for the future. PKP HotPatch 3 is the first more broadly productized device, but we also offer other equipment and supplies needed for asphalt patching.
Production
For steel structures, our manufacturing partner is Kröger Works, a top expert in the field. We manage the production assembly stage and final product quality in-house.
